This feature has been around as long as "Windows".This was the whole purpose of
the window object model.Unfortunately it is not easy to
control especially when many different people use the same spreadsheet. automation
simplifies this in many ways.
This example shows several spreadsheets that contain complex array and non-arrayed custom
functions. The functions include cell and cell array driven queries based on referenced
ranges in the cell formulas. It also shows a simple one that you may want to use if you use
Vlookups or Hlookups very often.
This example shows several OLE examples including : 1.) a spreadsheet that was controlled by an enterprise resource planning system
to produce complex financial statements 2.) a spreadsheet that contained an embedded internet explorer webbrowser.
